Pantherart, If the mesh is metal (Photoetched), you only really have one option, and that is superglue (although epoxy would work too). If plastic, you can try 'normal' liquid glue but it might not give you a strong joint.. Superglue would be the type of glue I'd use...

You'll probably find easier to paint the tank and the mesh separately, and do a final assembly just before applying the last touches of your weathering (such as pastel chalk dust). Decaling, washes and dry-brushing should be done prior final assembly, to make things easier and limit the chances of breaking things...

Superglue might give you a few shiny spots. Let the glue dry then 'cover' the shiny spots with a touch of paint/weathering.

Hope this helps!

Just take it easy. Actually, I have that kit but have never looked at it! If the mesh is already pre-cut, just use cocktail sticks to put little dots of superglue, and apply the mesh over the dots of glue. Use another cocktail stick to press the mesh onto the model. You may want to scrape the paint a little bit first, where the mesh will be glued on, as that will give you a stonger joint. Then when everything is dry, use a bit of paint to cover up the glue and other areas where the plastic is still showing through.

I just purchased a Badger 155 anthem air brush from www.dixieart.com . It cost $66.00 USD. Any order over $48.00 dollars and shipping in the lower 48 states is free. Sweet deal in my book.
