AFV= Armored fighting vehicle
CFV= Cavalry fighting vehicle, recon vehicles so right now that's mainly the M-3 Bradley
BFV= Bradley Fighting vehicle, which I assume does not mean it fights other Bradleys, LOL

Historyinscale,

I'm glad you have an armor kit picked out - we don't need to see that "first tank" question again

Reminds me of an "old" British comedy called the blackadder, the first series took place in the middle ages:
King: "Edmund, will you fight with us on the morrow??"
Edmund (crowned prince): "Goodness, no. i thought i'd fight with the enemy"

and, while we're on the subject of stupid questions related to acronyms: what does ROFL stand for? Rolling On Floor Laughing? I know what LOL and LMAO stads for... man, all of these acronyms... LOTR: ROTK, SW: TPM, SW: KOTOR, STNG, DS9, CIA, FBI! Jeez, can't enyone type the whole word anymore? WTF?!? Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]
Blackadder: This plan's as cunning as a fox that used to be Professor of cunning at Oxford University but has now moved on and is working with the U.N at the high commission of cunning planning

Blackadder was a good show. It had Rowan Atkinson in it, he's super talented and funny.

Don't pay attention to me - everybody here is more than glad to answer any kind of question

Ask away ! We are always glad to convert aircraft guys
