I mainly build in 1/35, but I've always enjoyed building 1/72 scale armor. I really like the new Revell modern armor like the Marder 1A3, M2A2/M3A2 Bradley, M1A1 Abrams and PzHbtz 2000. Also their 1/72 scale WW2 armor is top notch. I have both the Tiger 1 Ausf. H and StuG 40 Ausf. G.

There's plenty of photo etch available for these little kits. The 1/72 scale Tiger is a cheap and easy kit.

1/35 Late Tiger I, but I feel that could change with my Panther G. I also have many extra gizmos for it.

1/35th all the way. Too old to do Braille scale, my eyes aren't what they used to be.

I'll have a go at anything that catches my eye, WW2 or Modern. Usually I do something I can add to, or has interior detail - I guess I'm a Masochist this way.

My interest is mostly in 1/35th scale Soviet/Russian/Warsaw Pact armor. Although I do have WW2 armor kits and other modern vehicles. I have 5 M1's sitting on my shelves waiting for some aftermarket tracks. Built kits on my shelves include vehicles from Sweden, China, Germany and the U.K.

I like small scales best, such as 1/72 and 1/76. I mostly like early stuff, from WWI up to the Blitzkrieg years. but I do build later WWII stuff as well as modern AFVs.

Favorite armor? Tough to narrow it down to just one! I like 1/35 and 1/72 scales and my favorite subject would probably be the M2A2 Bradley or Israel's Merkava, though I have built neither one. Yet...

Although not strictly armor, I REALLY like military trucks and engineering vehicles. My faves there are the Oshkosh HEMTT and the modern Faun tank transporters. I recently picked up Trumpeter's SLT-56 and a Leopard 2A5 to pose together. I am soooo happy!!!

Here I am, late in replying again! I love these kind of threads!

I love building 1/72 and 1/76 scale kits. Captain [4:-)]

Rob mentioned some great Revell kits that I've also built. They build up very nicely:

FAVOURITE ARMOUR
Stug III, Pz IV, Panther, Jagdpanther, Tiger I, Tiger II, Jagdtiger, SdKfz 250, 251, 222, Schwimmwagen, Kubelwagen. In no particular order.
I also like American and British armour but I only build it if its for a diorama. I would build more if I had the time but I don,t so I,d rather concentrate on the panzers for now!.
I also like building figures too but I,m afraid again they have to be Panzer Truppen or Panzer Grenadiers, (preferably SS) unless again they are for a dio.
Yours, Gotter.
Big Smile [:D]
Ps It has to be 1/35 for me, I like to see the detail. However I love to see well made Braille scale models. There are some real skilled people out there building some wonderfully detailed mini models. It,s just not for me!.
