I second the AFV Club Tracks.

The few sets I assembled went together like a dream and fast too thanks to the link pieces being pre-spaced on the sprue.

Thanks god, so far my 3yr old has not even touched my modelling desk.
Cool [8D]
But he keeps going on when I finish this Kit or that Kit so that he can play with it.

At the moment he is happy playing with a near indestructible Bandai Mecha Godzilla that is waiting for painting.

The look on his face as he beat the table with the tracks was nothing short of priceless, but I'm sure the look on mine was worth a few pictures.

Crashed/trashed kit.....Sounds familiar ChrisEvil [}:)]

Wife, Cats, Kids........ they are to models, what Kryptonite is to Superman. Dead [xx(] My 3 year old (4 in January) takes out his 14 and 15 year old brothers on a regular basis. He loves ambush tactics, hides behind the wall and leg tackles the brother's as they go past, or comes up behind them when they are watching TV, then slaps 'em on the back of the head and runs. Were we ever like that at their age?

By the way, I've nearly resurrected my LVTP7A. I hope to finish it not so long after after the Group Panther Build project..........gonna do a little dio and title it 'The Phoenix' ....for obvious reasons.

a deployment of grade schoolers to iraq would probably end the reign of terror of SH, but there would be nothing left of the country, eitther !!! Wink [;)]

Wow, that just isn't fair. All that hard work and they were coming along so nicely. As you said, small consolation here, you got some practice under your belt. At least you have the backup plan which will work, but you may want to get aftermarket ones.

Chris-

I can relate. I did the Academy Stuart back in April thru June. Except I crunched the indi-links myself. Didn't know how fragile they were until I tried putting them on the hull. I ended up using the one-piece vinyl ones. Oh well...live and learn! I guess your 2 year old was trying to become a modeler too...the hard way!

Condolences!

Well if not a cat then leave it to a 2 year old. I had just about finished up the tracks for the Stuart whenI had to get the phone, little did I know a little sneaky set of hands had made their way to the tracks Shock [:O]and in no time had destroyed them Banged Head [banghead]. Alot of pins broken. and from the looks of it pieces still missing, must be in his spares box with some other critical parts that dissapeared over time. I don't think I'll ever answer the phone again. Guess I can consider the time put into them practice for future ones. Looks like it is a great thing this kit had the option of indi or vinyal cause he just made the vinyal option mandatory.
