Oh my...

David Seville is spinning in his,,,,well wherever he is, he must be spinning!! lol

Too good, build!

QUOTE: Bill, I wasn't sure how you pronounce your screen name...is it 2 syllables as in "wip w" or is the last w silent and pronounced wip(w) ? I was assuming it was 2 syllables but wasn't sure. That'll make a difference on the rhythm of it.

Eric, you may pronounce it anyway you want. Whatever fits the rhyme and the rhythm! I personally pronounce it (like I ever REALLY say it out loud!) as wip-wa, but then I pronounce DUKW as duck-wa, so what do I know!! lol!
It was only a suggestion. I've never been any good at poetry (bet that's a stretch for people to believe!!).

Have a good day, all you real poets. Thanks for the chuckles!

Hysterical !!

Great idea Erock ! Great job everybody else ! - Too hysterical !

Erush - awesome - You was a poet and didn't even know it !

Well in that spirit - I don't want to steal Erush's or anybody else's thunder but I think it would be nice to keep this thread alive.

So,

This is to the Chipmiunk Christmas Song

http://www.always-safe.com/midis/chipmunk.mid
(this was working before - it should pop up as a multi-media frame - if it shows as a link that can not be displayed hit the go button on the internet explorer address box and it should start. You can come back to the lyrics)

All right chipmunks are you ready to sing your song ?

Okay Erock ?
Okay
Okay Pet bat ?
Okay
Okay Erush ?
Erush ?
ERUSH!!!
Okay !

Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for kits and time for cheer.
We've been good, so we're told
Hurry Christmas, I want a Leopold !
Don't want a plane that loops the loop
Me, I want one that carries troops.
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas don't be late.

That was very good Erock
Naturally
Very good Petbat
Thank you
Ah, Erush you were a little flat, watch it
Ah, Erush, Erush. ERUSH !!!
Okay !

Don't want a plane that loops the loop
I still want one that carries troops.
Aircraft stinks that what we said
Give us kits, with only treads.
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas don't be late.

Hope that captured the spirit of the Armor Forum

ROFL Eric and Brian!! Laugh [(-D]Laugh [(-D] I didn't even think about either of those!!

I think we can change the visions of "hot meals" to "Krispy Kremes" without a problem. I think I found a place to slip the Big Chicken in too. I'll edit it and see what y'all think.

Edit: Had another thought before I finished so see how you like it now.

Thank you all for the kind words!! Blush [:I] I wasn't trying to steal the show, it just hit me to see if I could do it.

I want y'all to help me clean it up if we can. I ran out of ideas on some of the rhymes and it's rough in places. I KNOW y'all can improve on it and make it really good!
