All I know is that there is a new Academy M-36 Jackson coming out. Nothing from Tamiya.

It would be great though if you are correct. A collaboration of good manufacturers could be a good thing.

If you go to www.internetmodeler.com and scroll down to 'First Looks' you'll find reviews on the Academy 1/35th M36 Jackson and the Academy 1/35th M10 Duckbill. Reviews complete with photos of the sprues!

Yup, Academy offers an M-10, an Achilles, and an M-36 Jackson, while AFV Club offers an M-10. Tamiya's M-10 and M-36 are ancient and nowhere near the quality of the much newer Academy and AFV Club offerings.

As Dwight mentioned, neither Tamiya nor Dragon have any plans (as far as I know) to release kits of any of these vehicles in collaboration with anybody.

Tamiya, however has been offering some combo kits with Friulmodel metal tracks lately, like the T-55, Marder III, and Panther G.

In addition to J-hulk's list. AFV also has a great M-18 kit.

I agree with you, Jon. It (M-10 Achilles) does look very cool.

The M-18 on the other hand comes with a workable (with spring) main gun. Very cool. I am pondering deeply if I get it or not.

That really looks cool, Jon. Looks mighty detailed, too. Our shermans will definitely shiver at the sight of that. LOL.
