Help! After seeing some pix of the Tiger 1 group build I'm considering making the leap (I enjoyed the Tam. and Dragon 1/16 infantry figures). I'm considering the static version over the full R/C. Even though I have R/C experience I'm wondering if it's worth it. Anyone been down this road? Would I regret not having gone the whole 9 yards??

I can say that, all along the build process, I have had some major fun! The ONLY thing that I would change, is that, I wouldn't get the full Aber PE set. I used roughly 40% of it. I would just get a few of the seperate sets which they sell.

If you do, decide to go the Full Option route, I would suggest really hunting around on eBay! I got a great deal on mine and it wasn't even close to the $800.00-$900.00 that some hobby places were asking. I even asked HobbyTown USA if I could get some sort of discount (I get tons of supplies there) he looked up the price and it was $1025.00 [:0] Needless to say, any discount on that ,would have still been rediculous!

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Thanks Erock-I'm enjoying watching your build-looks stunning so far! We have a HobbyTown here in Cleveland and I find it WAY more expensive that the local Ma & Pa shops and Internet suppliers. I may have to flip a coin to decide. The full-option route may help me get rid of my girlfriend ;-).
