Hi Chris,
I got several yards of cheese cloth for $.50 a yard at Wal-Mart. You can cut it to size, rough it up and paint it however you choose.
Regards,
Joe

I used ( at some laughing and harrasing from my wife ) parsley to simulate leaves tangled in it. Sprinkled some around it while the paint was still sticky and worked great.

A gauze would also be good.

Chris - cheese cloth works great .... spray paint it before applying it and use the 50/50 water - white glue method to stick it down. Dry bursh to highlight the edges.

Maffen - most hair nets that I've seen are for the restaraunt industry and are a little too thick in the strands to be effective.

HEY,
These are some great tips. I have been thinking of the same thing for awhile, but kept forgetting to ask. Thanks for all the help.

Parsley isn't your only food source for this though.
Tea leaves, oregano, and some other spices also work.
