Jesse: A little nitpic you might want to attend to: the armored view ports slots have a "dusty" appearance -- no doubt from your wash and finish.  Inside the slot would have been the armored glass -- and it wouldn't have been dust encrusted.

Thnx for posting your pics

Nice work on the dusty finish Jesse! Thumbs Up [tup] Only thing I would recommend would be to darken the inside of the muzzles on the 75 and 37mm to give them some depth. May just be the all-seeing eye of the flash that's revealing that the gun barrels aren't full-length hollow, but putting a dark wash or some flat black down them would easily correct that.

Hi all,

I just finished Academy's M3 Lee.  I was going to do a "work-in-progress" thread but I ran out of time.  The model was built OOB except for the scratchbuilt headlight guards.  The tracks are AFV Club tracks and the running gear is from the replace set offered by Academy.  Tamiya Surface Primer was also used to replicate the cast metal surface on some areas of the tank.  The model was painted with Model Master Acrylics and Tamiya Acrylics.  Weathering was done with Windsor and Newton Oils.  Comments are always welcome.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, the decals that go around the turret were lousy.  I decided to paint on the strips.  I used Model Master Chrome Yellow.  It was nearly a perfect match.
