My First Two Builds. M-41 walker bulldog
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 12, 2003 11:05 AM
i'm just a beginner at this and i'm learning
thru this forum and thru FHM, i mean FSM
magazine lol. this forum makes me enjoy
doing my M-41 walker bulldog.

i built the jeep a couple of months ago just
for the bang of it and painted it really bad.

the tank is a tamiya. i looked at the pics of
m-41 and noticed that the machine gun is
at the right side of the commander's hatch,
but mine is at the left side, dunno why is that.

am not that good in painting, i used gunze-sangyo
OD spray paint.
i hope you like it. am planning to buy another tank kit,
maybe the new abrams from academy, baghdad style!
thanks for looking at the pics and please, criticize it,
i wanna learn more. thanks guys! semper fi!

nice flowery background lol

weee thanks for the "welcomes"
am gonna buy another kit today.
it's really fun to build 'em but they make
me insomniac, even if am lying in bed already
i can't stop imaging things on what to add or do
next...lol

anyways, have you tried the Gunze-Sangyo airbrush
system with the "canned air" as the air source?
i'm quite short on budget in buying an air compressor.

thanks!

Great job Gary. Keep hanging around here and you'll not stop learing. The only thing I really saw was the shine coming off them. A little dull coat and pastels could fix that right up. Great job for a first time keep posting your work to.

Nice job Gary and welcome to the forums. For your next build, your going to get diluged with people begging for you to try a Panther or a Tiger. Why not? After all, your in the Dark Side you know? Evil [}:)]

hmmm, why not build both! a panther and a tiger! hehe... what's a good model kit for it? i think the only available kits here in the philippines are academy, dragon, and tamiya. we got trumpeters and italeri but limited.

lizardqing thanks! , i'll look for a dullcote, does tamiya have those?

Go for it Gary! Why not both?

Tamiya has some really good builds of both kits. Just make sure to get the Panther G kits not the A. Any of the Tiger builds are good from what I hear. I built the Late model. Great kit, but beware, it has indy tracks.

Academy is supposed to make a fantastic Tiger kit with a detailed interior. Dragon has none of the Tigers, but are releasing a Kingtiger.
They have a Late Panther G made by Shanghai Gragon for only $18.95. Decisions, decisions.

thanks Redleg! ayl look for it later.
might as well buy the gunze airbush so i'll

P.S. i used the gunze-sangyo spray can olive drab on it and after a few light sprays,

thanks y'all.

Ey tigerman, i didn't bought the panther or the tiger. i bought an M-60A1 from Academy. it has this bulldozer thingy infront. it looks good unassembled, hope it looks better when done lol. it has real rubber road wheels compared to the tamiya's bulldog.

i'll buy the Panther G next time, it has eduard PE too. quite expensive though.
