Thanks, Tim!

Ah yes, Berlin Ambush! I almost forgot about that. Good name. Who came up with that?
Urban Ambush is also a good name.

Hey Mr. Hulk!!!

Looking at the picture of your E-100 over on Missing-Lynx. Was wondering is it the photo and the background or is your E-100 painted various shades of gray?

Glenn

It's not the photo, Glenn; it is indeed shades of gray. A base coat of Tamiya acrylic Medium Gray and a camo pattern of NATO Black. The weathering and whatnot evened it all out to shades of gray, which I quite like.

the scheme was christened "Berlin Ambush" by someone here in the armor forum

Eric, I was gonna hit ya with Hessler's KT, but alas, Ron's gallery appears to be on the blink.

you know, if anybody really cared, you could copy one of my splendiforous models and post it sayin it was yours, and then these nice people here, who don't really know about it make a fuss about it, that would really make my holidays great, apart from that free models hobby shop that you already promised.

So the secret is out. No more living that double life.

Mild mannered Brian Keaney by day and modeling super hero - J-Hulk by night. (Japan or US time, you pick) We didn't even need Louis Lane or Jimmy to expose you !

It was that turning green every time the glue container opened that tipped us off !

Congrats again

WHAT FORM OF SKULDUGGERY IS THIS?

This Keaney guy's a fraud, I tell you!
A shameless, modeling charlatan, perpetrating a mockery of a sham of two travesties of a mockery!

Oh, wait...sorry. That's me, actually! Ya'll should try living without a short-term memory!Confused [%-)]

YES, J-HULK IS BRIAN KEANEY!!!!
And vice-versa.

Heh heh heh!Mischief [:-,]

Actually, I was wondering how long it'd take my sharp-eyed FSM compatriots to spot ol' E over at Missing Lynx! I submitted those pix over a month ago, and frankly, didn't expect them to be accepted, both for reasons of quality and because of the fact that they were first posted in the FSM forums (which, honest guy that I am, I told them right away). But accept them they did! (A shortage of E-100s in their gallery, perhaps? I think there are five now!) And I'm very grateful. Mr. Blackwell's and Mr. Wilder's Es (also in the ML gallery) provided much inspiration for me when I was planning my build.

Also, I figured all my forum buddies here at FSM were getting pretty sick of seeing that big gray beastie (that and Hessler's King Tiger!!), so I thought I'd foist it upon another unsuspecting group! I hope they get a kick out of it over there, too.

As always, thanks for the kind (and funny!) words. Big Smile [:D]

Now I gotta stop resting on my laurels (they're getting awfully sore) and build something new!!

Sincerely Yours,
Your big modeling buddy in Japan,
Brian (J-Hulk) Keaney

I personally prefer the second version myself. I must admit those boots are really comfortable ... they've worn well.

This is probably the pic that this Brian fellow wanted to post on M-L.
