Wacky Group Build
Posted by wipw on Saturday, December 13, 2003 3:32 PM
Hey Guys and Gals,

April 1st is rapidly approaching. (Yes it is, too!) I had a strange idea. What about an AFV group build, to start after the Sherman Family build, after the Panther Group build, etc. The completed result would be presented to the forum on or about April 1st. The subject being "something not based in any kind of reality but your own imagination!. You could use any kit parts, scratch-built, etc., but existing fantasy models (i.e. those used in Warhammer) wouldn't be allowed. At least not in their "stock" form. Any accompanin, descriptive narative on the origin and history of the model would be encouraged.

Maybe no one would be interested in this sort of thing, but I thought it might be fun. (It's what happens after I finish reading about poor J-Hulks ripped off e-100!! lol

Sounds a great idea!
I for one would welcome the idea. I think I,d go forsome kind of "What if they had won" German tank or assult gun from about 1955-1960.
That would be cool Cool [8D]
Great idea wipw.
Yeah!! [yeah]

I'm in. I've been thinking of doing a Bundeswehr tank in an ambush pattern. This is just the motivation I've been needing to get started.

I'll post a few pics you guys might be interested in, they are pics of future army vehicles being tested ( they aren't clasified as far as I know, they are on an all access webpage the army has. ).

Cool. Sounds like some pretty fun ideas out there. It also seems like there's enough interest to do this one. Of course, it's way too early to start, best to wait for the other group builds to finish up, but not too early to start the creative jucies flowing!!

Thanks for all your responses.

oh yeah, the tank will not have wings, it will just be the diving panzer attacking something like a stutka would...
