Posted by erush on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 11:40 AM
I just picked up the new AFV Club Pak 43 and I have to tell y'all it's a beaut!! Comes with turned aluminum barrel, p/e gun shields, vinyl tires...that's what I noticed in a quick 15 second look in the box. Will give y'all a better update this evening after I can paw through it at my leasure! Big Smile [:D]

Quick look...go for it, looks like a great kit!!!

D'oh! And I struggled through the Verlinden resin version -- BEFORE I had a Dremel hobby tool! Sad [:(]

Sounds like a nice kit of an important weapon.

It's about time manufacturers build a few more artillery pieces. I will be watching for reviews. Sounds good though.

It looks pretty impressive. I see a knew age of models on the horizon and AFV Club seems to be raising the bar a little.

Ok, update on the kit after getting it home. Excellent buy for the money! It's around $35 list but you get the aluminum barrel, brass gun shield (pre bent no less) vinyl tires and other assorted p/e and vinyl parts. It looks great in the box. I did see a few sink marks but didn't notice anything too bad. Definitely a good buy I say.

Also, they have a big flyer in the box advertising a new sd.Kfz 251/1 C supposed to be out this month and a 251/1 D for next spring. Supposed to be all new from what it says. Could be interesting guys...

A 251/1 D sounds great. Dragon may come up with one also, now that they released a 251/1 C.
