RC Tiger I
Posted by Ray Marotta on Friday, December 19, 2003 8:08 AM
Santa arrived a little early...Last night to be exact. I was wandering around a Radio Shack and saw what looked like a 1/72 RC Tiger I
on a diorama base. It's nicely painted and well detailed (for a toy)
with rotating turret, sound, and light when you fire the main gun.
It also has machinegun sound. I couldn't resist and bought it on the
spot for $49.99. The rest of the evening was spent with me driving
it around the living room while my girlfriend laughed and rolled her eyes.

Yup, I know how you feel.

I got one of the Dragon 1/72 scale RC Tigers Last December and have had a tremendous amount of fun with it this past year.

Mine is on the blink, the left side motor or something is messed up, it only works well on one side and the other just sits there like uuuhhhh, I did have fun with it before it broke. I think it;s time for the hobby shop to take a peak?
( I have the winter Tiger I )

Watch out, or your tank could be toast!

Yeah, my Dragon 1/72 Tiger crapped out on me too. It only drives backwards, or spin in one direction. I tried fixing it with superglue, but to no avail. Great fun while it lasted though.

There's not much to the insides of one of the Dragon Tanks as long as the electronics are whole. Replacing the motors and batteries shouldn't be that intense.

My two older boys got them too. If mine craps out, I may be borrowing some "spare" parts from them!Tongue [:P]

My little Dragon Tiger has flawlesly fought very many table top "battles", even though I never remove the tracks when not in use as the instructions said. I plan to display it next to the 1/16 Tamiya when I build it...
