Israeli Sherman 'Ambutank'
Posted by djmodels1999 on Saturday, December 20, 2003 3:28 AM
I posted this in the Sherman Group Build thread but got nowhere... Possibly overlooked in the numerous pages already! Sad [:(]

So here I go again... Smile [:)]

Anyone has the Verlinden book on Israeli Shermans & variants..? I'm after 3 pics of an Ambulance Shermie built over an early suspendsion-type chassis...

Thanks

Domi

I've got the book, some decent shots in it on pages 23-27 of the late and early type.

I don't have that publication Domi, but I'll dig through some of the stuff I have here and some what I can dig up for you. Not too much Israeli pics here though.

Sorry Guy,

My reference material is almost exclusively WWII. I'm not much help with the Isralei Shermans. I just know they did a lot of different things with the chassis.

Check your e-mail !!! Please let me know that you have recieved the pics.

Nice work. I have quite a collection of pics of early Israeli armor. Always wanted to see the ambulance built up.Nice work.
