A couple of Big Cats...
Posted by djmodels1999 on Saturday, December 20, 2003 7:39 AM

Just about completed both now (just a couple of little things missing)... Both are 1/72 Revell kits. The Panther A kit is older that the Konigstiger (released in '03) and it shows. Revell has done a lot of progress in between those two offerings...

As always, excellent work, Domi!
I particularly like the weathering and rust spots on the Panther.

Great work Domi. Who makes the pe for 1/72? Do you usually use that brand?

Nicely done Domi ..... subtle dry brushing effects. Very nice indeed.

A pair of great additions for your home display.

Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Eric/Tigerman, I think there are people doing PE for small scale AFVs, but I use plastic card, foil, wire to do my super-detailling... Cheaper! Also can be more frustrating, but altogether more of a challenge...

Alex, no, just a simple base with a bit of ground and grass, nothing elaborate.

Thank you all for your comments. Much appreciated!

On to the Leclerc, now...

Both look great.

I have been eying up the Revell 1/72 armour kits for a while now.

Having seen yours might give it a bash.

Domi:
bravo, maitre !
encore du travail extra, ils sont beaux 'comme un camion', ou devrais-je dire 'comme un blinde' ?
"p/e ? we don' need no stinkin' p/e !"
or as a friend of mine likes 2 say: 'Them what likes it, speak highly of it..."

just kidding, folks, don't get mad at me OK ?
LOL !
