Thanks for your very kind remarks, need some help tho'. Ive tried to show some damage from a burst of something like a heavy m/c gun. I don't think I've "pulled it off". what do you think?.
Pv Mutt, yes some dark colour in the barrels would be right. The flash shows that up, so thanks for pointing to that.
Tiger man, there kit is good, no pin,sink or flash to bother with and the fit is very good.
However; the is a big inaccuracy between the two halves of the turret and some work was necessary to correct this and maintain the weld line.
Bob, I use Acrylics; the cheapest I can find (£1.00) per for 59mm. I use them straight out of the bottle but some times I will thin with water.
Dave, the colour I mixed myself. I only have a few colours and I find that as long as I have the primary colours and just a few secondary colours I'm OK.
An artist Colour wheel is very useful, you can get them from most art shops.
