What happened to New Connection Models?
Posted by The Mad Klingon on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 10:11 AM

They were (are?) a German-based outfit that produced lots of really spiffy resin armor kits. Their site has not been updated since June of 08. Did they fold? Inquiering minds want to know.

I'd love to get my hands on the E-100 stuG or their old Raumer S...especially the Raumer S.

Hi,

I'm also very astonished concerning Lutz Fellmuth as President of new Connection Models, never heard, never reached him at phone and presently his homepage is off, i.e. doesn't exist anymore ?

May be caused by his illness suffered round about a year or quite some month more before.

If I will get any informations I'll post in here.

Bye

I'm not sure how I missed this but Trumpeter is planning on releasing a plastic version of the E-100 StuG! Oh happy days! Now, how about a Raumer S!

Hi,

I don't know what will going on concerning "New Connection Models" at present time. I suppose that some of his plans and molds might be sold to China ? Perhaps to Trumpeter.

My reason may be found in announced new kit: TRUMPETER Art.-Nr. 01586 German Krupp/Ardelt Waffentrager 105mm leFH18 Tank Destroyer ... which is announced for Germany in may this year - but whether shown in Trumpeter's catalogue nor at their homepage.

So I recommend to look onto the announcements of Trumpeter ... may be thos fine kits of Lutz will now be made as injected moulded ones.

Sorry for my bad English ... too long time ago used.

I wish I spoke German as well as you speak English.

Hello again, Geeked

take a close look onto the news of Tumpeter ! They offer the 105mm leFH 18 mounted on chassis "Waffenträger Krupp/Ardelt" and now is announced the 128mm Kanone 43/44 (Krupp) mounted on extended chassis of "Waffenträger Krupp/Ardelt"... for July or August this year.

Therefore I suppose they will offer several other AFV which were formerly produced as resin-made kits by New Connection Models.

Attention guys ... it will be interesting furtheron

I have called both German and French companies before and they do speak English well enough to communicate. Try the number and see if they are still in business.

New Connection models is not producing any more. Most of the models will appear in plastic, sooner or later. One of the reasons, he stopped making resin models.

Räumer S.....well, there is at least one guy recasting the kit....my own copy is of a very bad quality. I will try to fix it anyway. Lutz Fellmuth helped me with this task.

my best

May be it will change ? Not Lutz but a new label with some of his kits made by someone else ... and at least those kits will be made by use of the original moulds of Lutz. So we have nothing else to do as waiting ... unfortunately I don't know how long ...

Does this mean we can still get our hands on these wicked kits?..

Why dos'nt any manafactuers make the german E-boat in 1.48 scale, its strange as most u-boats come in that size and also the pt boats come in that size aswell, it's gonna be a real pain in the butt, if someone wants to create a harbour scene with both in the same sketch!!!!

I heard he was trying to sell, such a shame his kits where and still are one of a kind and rare content, just hope someone see's the potential and snaps it up, if I had a house to remortgage I'd probably buy him out, what else is there to do on lock down, apart from  (get ya kitz out). .

Sry to say it in a dry form like this but he passed away last November.

And after his first disappearing he realized that he missed to much what happened on the market ... That's the reason why there is nothing new
