Thanks Guys! As far as seeing my work on the box, it simply does not happen.. This manufacturer still sells his kits in little plastic bags.. LOL

The completed pattern has about 10 hours of continuous work on it, but because I have to apply Milliput at various stages, those 10 hours are spread over a minimum of 3 days.

Excellent Domi! I saw your other post on it but forgot to reply, where you mentioned you had about 5 hrs in it at the time. It would've taken me 5 weeks to get close to that and I doubt it would have been recognizable!! Tongue [:P] Big Smile [:D]

Again, excellent work!!

Scratch Sumida Staff Car - Completed! -
Posted by djmodels1999 on Monday, December 29, 2003 1:58 PM
Here's what the completed product looks like. As far as I'm concerned, my 'job' ends here with this particular model... The pattern will be made into a resin & white metal kit, that should be available from the end of February, at the big Trucks'n'Tracks show here in the UK.

It's a Isuzu/Sumida K10 Type 93 Command Car. The pattern is scaled at 1/76.

I'll probably be asked to build/paint a test shot kit for display purposes, but that's another story.

Only one piece is 're-used', the wheel, taken from a... taken from my spare parts box (full of wheels!)... The rest is plastic, milliput and superglue.
