I'm blaming this on you "Treadhead's"

I was content to do my ship's, star trek and the odd aircraft. Big Smile [:D] The only armor kit I've ever tried was a dismal failure. Sad [:(] Well I just bought a Tamiya 1/35 M4 Sherman (early production) kit on e-bay. [:0] I'm going to take the plunge and try again. If I screw this one up I'm blaming Robert (it IS a Sherman after allTongue [:P]Evil [}:)][:0]).

I want to do a diorama. What would be appropiate for this model of M4. N/A Desert? S/P beachhead? or maybe a Europe winter scene (i.e the Bulge)? Just some ideas that wouldn't be too involved.

Yes! This is mainly an Army version so keep that in mind on the S/P beachhead. But the M4 was used in the Pacific by the Army. The Marines basically used the M4A2 version.

Go ahead Tim ... blame me .... I can take it. LOL

As mentioned earleir, you may want to consider the Sherman Group Build that we're having. It start's on the 15th of January and runs for 2 months. Lots of time to get this build done.

Excellent choice of a "first" Sherman .... I'd go Italy / Normandy myself with that kit.

Welcome to the darkside.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert
