Coming along very nicely Bob !!

I only pic out one small detail that may need a little attention. The end of your barrel looks like it may be a little off center. But then again it could be the pics .... or my eyes !!!
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

thanks for the kind words folks. Shermie, the angle of the turret in the pic makes the barrel look funky. ( thats my story and I'm sticking to it!) Modelkid, I used "polyscale model railroad colors: rust". I think I'll try their "grimy black" really thinned as a wash. Maybe a few other colors until it "looks" right. Thanks again all. Bob

Nice job Bob. How's the build gone on the kit so far? I almost got one, but opted for another.

tigerman, it's been ok so far. I am not an expert, so keep that in mind. I didn't like the way the racks went together. They seem to be the wrong length. the overall fit is good. Of course the tracks could stand to be tighter (shorter), but then I probably couldn't get them on! I still have to make the antennas. There is no interior and I wish there were some accent pieces. ( ie. tools, extra track links, etc.) The instructions show motors and such for making this kit a toy. Much the same as my tamaya m8 motor carriage. I would build another Academy kit.

13b20:

Very good build so far. I have done the same kit last year. It is a cool kit to worked on. A little weathering will sharpen that baby a little bit.

Keep us posted.

Over all it looks great 13B20... The only thhing that I saw that looked a little off was the track as it comes down off the idler wheel it seems to be a bit loose... But that could be all the medication I am on :P.... I wish my M1 looked as good... You may have said already but how did you get the paint job on the tracks to look so good??? I can't wait to see more pictures of the build...

Looking good! You make me want to start mine.....

The only problem I see are what appears to be a number of ejector pin marks on the supports for the turret basket and side rack rail supports.

Keep up the good work.

Styrene: Yeah, I know. Big clumsy hands and thin parts don't usually mix well!!

I have more watered down "grimy black" in the airbrush soo.... Also need to make mud!
thanks for the encouragement folks, its appreciated!

Looks good! I'd imagine Robert's computer was picking up the thermal shroud as part of the end of the main gun.
