M-113A2 APC (pics)
Posted by allan on Saturday, January 3, 2004 9:58 AM
Here are some images of my 1/72 ESCI M-113 APC I built a few years ago. The engine and engine bay details were built from scratch. The roof door and rear ramp open to reveal the detailed interior. Im sorry I couldnt get more light into the interior to show more details. The match book was placed beside the model for size reference. Tell me what you think, guys.

Man! Beats Heck outta anything I did with mine! Outstanding job! There was plenty of light to see the interior; it looked like I could just crawl right in!

Thank you very much for the kind words, John and Yellowjasper!

Mark,
Thanks! Armor-wise, Ive been working on and off for months now trying to backdate a 72nd Revell M-2A2 to early standards, but just havent gotten around to completing it. And Ace T-55 is also on the pipeline, but am still trying to gather references. Ive still got some more pics to show of previous works. Ill post them here one of these days.

Jeff,
Thank you! I mustve seen that film about 6 times and that scene with the M-113 was quite depressing, no? But what a film indeed!
