Nice aftermarket MG34 for the AA mount?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 10:57 AM
By the way, I want to really go to town with a fancy pants aftermarket AA MG-34 for my Panther. Any suggestions on what the nicest one is? Is it some brass piece, or a resin kit, or something else. I mean a real oooh aah gun, and I'm not afraid to spend some time building it up. Any ideas? Thanks.

Jaguar makes a resin set for about $5. Haven't seen it myself, but here's the link: http://www.jaguarmodels.com/135wac.htm

Collector's Brass makes some very well detailed mg's if you can find them. I have seen their stuff show up on Ebay and I think modelmecca.com and rjproducts.com carry some of their machine guns.
Erik "Don't fruit the beer." Newest model buys: More than I care to think about. It's time for a support group.

Yup, I'd forgotten all about those guys. I put in an order for one from the good folks at RJ Products. Not critical to my Panther build-up, but I'd like to pop it in the MG amount eventually. (I hope it fits into the Eduard mount!)
