Italeri Ambulance Dodge WC-54
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, January 8, 2004 10:37 AM
I came across , which I thought was out of circulation, a 1/35th Doge ambulance from Italeri , kit #226 at my local hobby shop. The owner told me its a reissue. Anyway, I need to find some medical figures to go with the model for a diorama. I found a Mash tent made by Verlinden but its the wrong scale.

I woudl appreciate any help.

Thanks

Ken

Yanks use to have a 1/35 scale ambulance driver figure.

I don't know if you can still find it or not. Yanks went out of business, then you could find their stuff again (I think someone else was making it), now I haven't see it for a while.

It's a shame, they had some nice stuff.

Sorry I can't be of much more help.

Italeri makes a set of medics carryinga wounded soldier on a litter. Also their Marine set has a wounded figure on the ground with another soldier assisting him. They also do an aid station kit.

The Dodge ambulance is originally an old Peerless Max kit and about 35-40 years old.

I have it in the original Peerless form. It is a wonderful kit with amazing detail for any modern kit. Forget that it's 40ish years old...
