Once again my Thanks to everyone for your help.

Wingnut, I have been trying with super glue gel; haven't got it right yet. BTW; what is this 'zipper' you mention...cheers....Kenny

Love that camo.  For the eyes cycles, try drops of extra thick CA glue and accelerator. Hit a tiny drop of CA with zipper and pull at it in an upward motion with a tooth pick or a piece of wire.  I've done that to make little pointies when I needed them.  If you did a few in succession might work.

The MG34 didn't have a specific mount on the Wespe. It had the usual retaining brackets on the right side of the fighting compartment for stowage but when in use, it would've just been propped up on the splinter shields since those were low to begin with and didn't provide full protection for the crew. HTH.

tigerman,Nachtflieger,jetmodeler.wbill76 and TD4438, thanks for your replies and encouragement.

tigerman, the scene I have in my head is that this vehicle has been sitting with the unit for one or two weeks; it is late Autumn before the snow but very cold and with those dreadfull wet freezing early morning mist. perhaps some rain at times, so yes it could have a few icicles hanging down!.

TD4438, yes the spelling of 'icicles' is correct; well it is here in England.

I still don't know how the MG42 would be mounted. Do you think it would be on a long column fixed to the floor or a short mounting welded to the side...cheers....Kenny

Nice work Kenny! I'm building this same kit at the moment and you've done a great job with it. Can't offer any advice on the iceicle question, always a tough one to pull off. Maybe use some stretched clear sprue?

The camo came out nicely on the Wespe Kenny.

Unless the vehicle been sitting for a bit, I'm not sure the icycles would be dangling off the tracks.

Good job on her.

There are more pics on photo bucket if you wish to see them.

Now I need some help, as you can see from the two figures it is cold and that is the effect I wish to finish the model.

I think I can get the 'ice look' on the steel amour but I have not yet managed to construct some 'icicles' hanging from the sides and tracks.

This forum is full of wonderfull modelers so I'm sure some one will come up with the answer.

Also I believe that some times a MG42 was mounted but I'm sure how!.

OK, your comments would be most helpfull, I learn so much...cheers....kenny
