1/35 Dragon Scud B w/MAZ TEL
A very impressive kit from Dragon. Plenty of parts and details. Its been so long that I'm gonna do an amour kit. It will probably take very long to complete and I'm going to take things slowly..
Thats exactly how that one needs to be built. Take your time and do it in stages. In the end, it is one very impressive build!
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

There are PE for Inside and out side and also correct wheels. One other thing is the way the wheels fasten to frame is week. go find a book called the Scud by Steven J Zaloga, while it is a very big kit it is week on details, no engine or drive train or the mass of cables to the rocket, but it will build up to a nice kit
It looks like a reasonable undertaking. The kit is really only like 8 sprues, so its not too extensive in its number of pieces.
FACEBOOK: Ryan Olson Thorgeirsson for pics of all my builds.

Interesting kit, personally didn't even know Dragon made this kit. Nevertheless I will be looking forward to seeing how this kit comes along.

I need to get one of these kits. Ive heard of kits containing PE, rubber track and tubes, but never a lighter. (Picture 2)
I built one of these years ago when the kit first came out. I've also got another one in my current stash!
If memory serves me correctly there are some fit issues with fitting the firing cabin to vehicle frame. Just something to be aware of....
On the bench: AFV Club M730A1 Chaparral
On deck: Tamiya Marder 1A2
In the hole: Who knows what's next!
After many months of delay, finally complete assemble....
AWESOME! Keep it up.

Heh... Put it in a 1991 Iraqi Desert with the crew running away in terror, and name it "Eagle Bait"...

So how was the construction of this kit....any serious problems like getting all the wheels to sit on the ground? Because the only thing I see is some slight fit issues near the front cab. Other then that this kit looks like it flew together.

This kit is one of the worst fitting kits I've ever built. As mentioned, it is severely lacking in details, and the attachment points for the wheels to the frame are very weak. They definitely need careful work to align properly. I'd definitely spring for the PE set, and a good reference book. There are a ton of cable details that can be added to the back of the missile and the launch rail.
The alignment of the front cab parts is also way off, and will need some careful and patient dry-fitting to get them to mate properly without gaps.
Color added... Just short of wash and weather.
Just when I am doing my MAZ TEL.. See this news and picture of DPRK mass parade recently..
But I am not going to do a DPRK R-17..
Now that I see some pics of this, I'm getting one, and I might do the "Eagle Bait" idea...

Nice work, I had this kit in my stash before. And it was lost over the course of a couple of moves. One of the few kits I really missed not having the opportunity to complete. May fidn one again some day, and take another kick at the cat.
