Fujimi 1/76 Tiger I Pictures
Posted by jkeller on Saturday, January 10, 2004 11:04 PM
Here are some pictures of my 1/76 Tiger I. It is my first time at this scale. It still needs some work. I haven't done any washes or drybrushing on the upper part of the tank nor are there any decals.

Good looking li'l Tiger! I built that kit about 8 years ago, and recall that it was a nice build.

Are you going to leave it gray? While gray is by far my favorite color for German tanks, I don't think there were any late Tiger Is (with the steel wheels) painted gray.

But if you want it gray, that's fine! One of these days I'm gonna do a Tiger II with Porsche turret in gray, just cuz I think it looks cool!

mark956, thanks

J-Hulk, thanks. It was good build no major issues. Yeah I was going to keep it gray even though it should be dark yellow with some sort of camo job. On the PC game Battlefield 1942 there is a gray Tiger in the opening clip so I sort of copied that, not sure if it was an early or late type.

Sorry, my monitor must be off, the pics are coming in way to dark. Sounds good though.

Thanks for the comments. This picture, I think, is a little better. This is after I applied the wash. I need to clean it up, apply decals and dry brush. I appreciate feedback.

That's better Joe. Coming along nocely. Once it is drybrushed and weathered it will really come to life. Keep us posted.
