LVT-(A) 1 "ALLIGATOR"

I've got a couple of spare Verlinden .30 cals in resin. I can let you have them if you need them. They don't have any shields, but you should be able to scratch up a couple with a little trying.

maybe you can sand it with sandpaper to scuff it up some, add some washed paints to it, then drape some camo netting or similar things to it to make it look more realistic... just a thought :)

That's why I suggested them separately. The Jordi Rubio barrel barrel will run under $5 and the Verlinden .30 cal too. Together they will be $10 plus or minus. Places like www.greatmodels.com or www.bentbutnotbroken.com will carry them.

Of course you can always ask if someone has a spare .30 cal or barrel in the parts box.

Thank you Robin, but $33.00 is like a whole months allowance. I was looking for something in the $5.00 - 6.00 range. I only paid $12.00 for both the "Alligator" and the "Water Buffalo."

I found the Trakz TX0004 LVT-A1 Detail Set for $14.95 (normally $32.95) at my local hobby shop. It includes a Jordi Rubio aluminum 37mm barrel, resin .30 cal machine guns, resin upper hull (top portion of upper hull with the hatches), and a PE fret with .30 cal gun shields and mounts, hatches, .30 cal ammo boxes, grills, periscopes, and those little grill like things at the back of each track.

I do know that Verlinden sells resin .30 cal machine guns (#371) and Jordi Rubio sells the 37mm barrel (TG-48) separately as well. This would run about $10 plus or minus depending on where you find the items.

I got lucky with my purchase. If you can find that set, I recommend getting it though. But $33 is a lot of money to spend.
