Great Scale Modeling 2004, pg 23

hi everyone !
i'd like 2 take a moment 2 call attention 2 the work of another young female modeler featured in this mag !
on pg. 23, Erika Hametz (10 years old) has done a fine job on a
1/35 scale T-62 ... they say it's her first armor model ! (WOW!)

I'll have to look at that when I get home. See Frosty, other girls are out there!! And her name's Erika too!.....hmmmm coincidence????.... Conspiracy maybe???? Wink [;)]

Very cool... I'll have to take a look at it when I get home as well. A friend of mine has a picture in there also. Its an airplane...I forget what the plane name is exactly but its the first pic of the Oklahoma model show gallery (on steel matting with ground crew). He's a great old man, he's very talented. He displays his work at our local library quite often. I remember seeing them 15 years ago and thinking WOW.. I wish i could do something like that. He's the one who got me into this I suppose... I should probably tell him that.. Big Smile [:D]

(edit) Did I mention I already embarassed him by making him sign my copy of GSM 04 right there in the LHS..... Tongue [:P]
