                        I am looking for photos from the 16th Armored Division, 1943-1945. I am building a display with a Sherman and an M5 Stuart for a vet. He can't locate any photos in his collection, my books didn't turn up anything, and I can't find any online - certainly some exist, right?

                        I have some from the 70th Tank Battalion and some from the 14th AD. Both are pretty much the same other than unit markings and individual vehicle USA numbers. If you reference any US ETO(?) photos, you should be good to go if you use 16th AD markings.

                        ... or easier yet, leave the markings off and muddy the spots over! (lazy me)

                        That's what I do.
                        If you look at a lot of pictures you can't see the unit markings anyway.
