I'm always dissapionted with manufacturers, they can do very fine crisp mouldings with fine detail aand yet when it comes to figures, they cant. I had to do quite a bit of  knife work on these. Hope it shows

Well, after a struggle I've some of them up

Your comments would be very welcome.

Finally may I wish you all a VERRY MERRY & PEACFULL CHRISTMAS and thank you for all of the Tips and advice you have always offered...cheers....Kenny

Nice work on this one Kenny, the "Caunter" scheme is always a tough one to pull off and you nailed it beautifully. Beer

That's one of those gotta have builds for the shelf because of that cool scheme.  And that one fits the bill just fine.

Love the paint job and weathering, my only issue would be the driver looks possesed (his eyes)

A superb build - I love this tank!

The Matilda is on my list of Allied tanks for 2011 and I'm going to have a go at this scheme.

You have really got an excellent 'rust' on the rear muffler, that stood out a treat.

I know a previous poster mentioned it but has the driver's left eye (as we look at him) without a pupil? Not that I can really criticise as I can't paint figures to save my life - it's more of an 'observsation' Wink

Beautiful job Sir and a Matilda that I'll aspire to build when I do mine!

WOW is the word! Great looking Matilda. I like the touch of sand in the nooks and crannies. Great weathering.

Thank you,

Andrew, TD4438, Ben, RBaer, constructor and ACESESS for taken the time to take a look.

Yes, the eye's are not right although when viewing from normal distances it is not noticeable,,,,need more practise painting figures.

ACESESS, its just a question of carefull placing of masking tape. I use Tamiya masking tape and I find it very good...cheers....Kenny
