Canadian 6 wheeled AVGP Grizzly
Posted by icit on Sunday, January 2, 2011 11:31 PM

Anyone familiar with the Canadian AVGP series of armoured vehicles,  if so- anyone know where I can get a grizzly turret, pictures, drawings, or references for one? I noticed that Trumpter is realising the Cougar in the series which takes care of the body but no Grizzly version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to this,

Trumpeter do plan on releasing a Grizzly.  If you need specific details on the Grizzly, you will probably get a faster answer over at Armorama.  Several regular members there have up-close and personal experience with AVGP's.

Great to see that Trumpeter will be releasing the AVGP serie in plastic! I know a lot of non-modelling guys that would buy it as their first kit.

ICIT, you can PM me if you have any questions regarding the turret when you build it.

If I recall correctly , Griizzly uses a Scorpion turret , so if you're in a hurry you could use the Revell Scorpion kit or the   AFV Club Australian M113 Fire Support vehicle which also uses a Scorpion turret . If Trumpeter are going to release a complete Grizzly , it would of course be cheaper to wait.

Wrong, that would be the Cougar with the 76mm L23A1 gun.

The Grizzly mounts the Cadillac-Cage turret with a .50 QCB (Quick Change Barrel) and a 7.62mm C6 machine gun.

ICIT, PM stands for Private Message. I haven't  been on FSM on a little while and it seems that is it now called Conversation.
