Whoa! Maybe the pics are deceiving me. I guess I need to buy one now to confirm.

I'm actually waiting and hoping that Trumpeter releases the one they have created, which includes both railway transport cars. Now there's a cool diorama in the waiting. I don't know if they will actually be releasing it or not. If they do, it's certain to be a fiddlier build than the DML.

Oh, quit jokin' around. There's not nearly enough power in that outlet for the vehicle.

Spec, that is a nice build-up. Looking very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing the weathered gun. How are you going to weather it? Smoke from firing and travel dust? I don't think they moved around much on their treads, and I assume they positioned them on very hard fairly level ground.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always been a little surprised by how tank-like in size this thing looks. I mean, really really BIG tank, but now that' it's been rendered in 1/35th, a scale I know fairly well, still it's not as humongous as I had always imagined it being.

All: thanks for the compliments , I would definatly reccomend this kit .... pretty fun to build actually Lotsa big parts , as opposed to that panther which I needed a microscope to do the tool racks The only complaint is with the decals , typical DML decal prob but other than that it was a breeze ( I may have to get that big rail gun too !!!!) Now If I could only find room in my display case Oh check out this spec on it ( the gerat gun ) firing pressure on it was 700 tons and had to be done remotely because of the danger to the crew! ..... the barrel had to be switched out after around 60 rounds .

All: notice on the power outlet how it is sunk halfway into the countertop ( I can't even use the bottom outlet) Nice attention to detail by my apartment owner there ! Obviously not a modeler huh ? I had this kit almost done prior to the panther build , but set it aside til I got the kitty done ( the deadline and all) so all I really had to do to it was paint and put the tracks on . It really was an easy kit to build but there was some patching to do after ( no aftermarket barrel for it yet as far as I could tell , so a real nasty seam there , and was tough with the riffled barrel to putty on the inside without ruining the rest of it !) those link tracks are also nasty , haven't done those since my M-60 a ways back . The decals for this machine are not correct ,"Loki " is the proper version here , not " Ziu " , as I lost the proper ones to brittle decals ( they just cracked and fell apart ) I have no idea what dragon does to thier decals , but they are almost always like that Will post pix when it is finished! That is one impressive build. My wife saw it and told me not to even think about it. I think a diorama of that monster would have to be a permanent display on my coffee table!

Good job on the camo. I know that it is a huge kit. Saw it already. The soldier really gives us a good idea of the size of that thing. Should look even better when weathered.

When you are at it. Try to weather than power outlet, too. Looks too plain, to me. LOL.
