Sloped front but flat engine deck? I'd call it an M3A3.

The M5's had a raised section on the rear of the hull which appears to be absent on the example in the pic.

I gave a primer on how to distinguish one from another two years ago. At question was the type of tank used in a particular Twilight Zone episode. Yes, it is an M3A3.
