Dragon DS Tracks

enamels make them a litlle brittle,I've washed with enamels and used Mig's thinner for washes and they have not fallen apart,but they do stiffen up a little.If you want to be totally safe stick with acylic washes.

I used a flat enamel black primer before I shot acrylcs and then used oils mixed with mineral spirits. No problems what-so-ever.

I've used them on three two of my Dragon builds and my Tamiya Jagdpanther also has a set of DS Panther tracks fitted on it (I used Friuls on the Panther).

I paint them with Acrylics and use either oil based washes made with Artists White Spirit or ready to go MIG washes and have never had a problem.

I have heard of the early vinyl one piece tracks going brittle after being painted with Enamels but the tracks we get these days should be totally fine.
