Welcome back, Chazzer.  I'm a "returnee" myself.  It is a great hobby, especially with all the new after market products and tools available to us now.  Like you, I get a real feeling of accomplishment when I build something.  Another big difference from the "old days" is places like this.  Forums where we can swap ideas, experiences, critique each other's work and just plane hang out together, make a great hobby even better.  I've made some pretty good long distance friends on various forums I visit and have picked up a ton of great ideas, and hopefully shared a good idea or two.  Wish I could help you on the model, but I'm a ship/plane guy.

Re-connecting with a great hobby part 2

Thank you to all for your advice and words of welcome. I have started my build of the 2cm flak gun ( the first in 9 years!). Its just like riding a bike...with a boat load of improvements. I can't believe how far the hobby has progressed! I used Testors Model Master liquid cement, the stuff is awesome, with the needle applicator! I resurrected a couple of old Badger airbrushes and am in the process of cleaning them up. What a great feeling it is to build a model. I still would love any advice on the model. THANKS ALOT!!!!!!!!!Big Smile
