Just finished my Dragon T34/85. Completely out of the box, just enhanced the casting seam on the lower turret.

All comments welcome.

First class work.  Beautiful.  Weathering is spot on.  Enough to look like it been around but not over the top.

I like that. Great job on the weathereing and tracks. What did you use and do for the mud on the back?

Looks really good John,, from what I can see, it looks great..

Would like to be able to see it a little better though.

Maybe a little more exposure time or add more light(s)

Thanks for sharing

Enjoy the ride!

I love this John. What did you use to paint and weather the tires? Also, how did you enhance the seam?

Very nice job overall. Yes My only suggestion would be to glue the tracks to the top of the roadwheels so they don't 'float' like in the last pic.

Wingnut, Thank you very much!

Somenewguy, Thank you very much! The mud/dirt on the vehicle is Mig Pigments Euro Dust, Dark Mud, Light Dust and Russian Earth.

Anthony 2779, Thank you very much!

BaBill, Thank you very much! Yeah, I really need to work on my picture taking. Just using a cheepo little Kodak camera.

SprueOne, Thank you very much!

Tigerman, Thank you very much! The tires were first painted with Tamiya flat black and used a circle template to mask, then sprayed the green for the rims. The tires were drybrushed with a light grey, I think I used the Citadel Codex Grey. Mig pigments that were pretty thinned out was put on also to kind of dust them up some. The seams on the turret bottom and front pieces were enhanced some using stretched sprue and Testors liquid glue. Once it got soft enough I used a micro chisel to roughen it up a bit.

Nachtflieger, Thank you very much! The tracks were glued on the wheel tops but must have broken loose (again) during the picture taking or as I moved it around. I only used a very small amount of CA to hold them and there must be some of the residual Mig pigments causing a poor bond.

Agreed superb T34/85!

Russian green is one of those colors that few capture realistically without going too far with the weathering or color modulation. Yours looks perfect!

Tanks for taking the time to post the pictures!

With the right camera angle and back ground this T34/85 would look real (1/1 scale)

Looking GREAT especially the tracks and cables! Yes I hope I get to see this beast at Roscoe Turner IMPS in March.  Are you going there?  I will and I promise not to take it home with me.

SuppressionFire, Thank you very much. I used Tamiya JN Green for the base coat then lightened it a bit with Tamiya Dark yellow.

TD4438, Thank you very much! I only have two other photos that is lighter at this point:

Andy! Thank you very much! I am planning on going to the Roscoe Turner show but not sure if I'm going to enter anything. If I do this one might be one that I enter. I hope to see you there!
