Wives make silly requests...

So today, out of nowhere, my wife decided that I should build our daughter a pink tank.

So I guess I'm going to be building a pink tank...Surprise

It will be for a good reason...even if you can't figure it out just yet, you're better off just accepting it and fulfilling it as soon as you can! Smile

Oh indeed.

Now...what to build? Got a Tamiya KV-2 in the stash...the thought of that sucker in hot pink gives me giggles...

Just build a british tank in "Sahara Pink" or try to get her to change the mind to the British SAS Jeep kit by Tamiya.

Pink squid camo looks ok. ;)

Good for you. It doesn't matter what color as long as you and your daughter are working together. I helped my daughter build a VW bug.

Well, she's closing in on 9 months, so she's not much use at the bench yet! But she's already got herself a Wildcat...

Hoping I can share the fun as the kids get older, but for now I'm content to build them the occasional kit. Who knows...modeling by osmosis maybe?

She turned 18 the day before yesterday...Confused

Hey Doogs,I think Tigerman is onto something with the beetle. That way you won't have to hear that timeless quote form the Mrs. if you do a tank with a barrel, " She'll poke someone's eye out " !!!!  keith r.

"...That's an order,not a debate topic , Sergeant Rudzik..."

Build some late model or paper-panzer fresh from the factory in primer - wasn't it pinkish?

Or else do what I did

My daughter wanted a tank or truck - so I built a LRDG truck and SAS jeep as safari vehicles, zebra stripped and leopard spotted.

She has one to this day - a little worse for wear.
