I don't blame you for choosing a steel wheeled build. I hate those rubber tires. Looks very nice as always Dwight.

Dan: Thanks.

LQ2: Actually still have some unbuilt kits and A shermie on going. Just got inspired by the great camo schemes you and the other guys in the Panther Group Build did. Thanks. A dio is also bein prepared (or re-done) with this one.

Ahh man just getting the dreaded x boxes. I think I just found out where microsoft got the name for the system now!

Ok I posted and now they are back. Great repaint job Dwight. You must be out of fresh kits with all the repainting you are doing.

Panther G Steel Wheels

Here's a pic of my newly repainted "old" Panther G Steel Wheels. After seeing lots of good camo schemes in the Panther Group Build, I was inspired to redo the camo of this one. I actually previously used Tamiya Dark Green (IJN) which is very dark in a 3-tone camo and it didn't look right. So, last night I stripped it and repainted it.

I still need to put the tank number and do some more drybrushing tonight and a little paint-detailing here and there.

One problem of this kit is that it came with rubberband type tracks which are too tight. So what I did is to stretch it to allow more room for a sag. Even then it still couldn't look as good as the indy ones.

This kit BTW is the same kit featued in my first dio. I will also re-do that dio by adding more items like the tank supply crew and some more debris perhaps.

Anyway, just want to share the pics as taken last night.
