Thanks, I have the figures somewhat painted, I just seem to loose intrest in them pretty quick. Seems the GIs from the M4A3 Sherman kit that are shown running along the tank also work out to look as if they are sitting on it also. Just need to come up with one holding a camera to get the idea I have come to life. Even thought about putting a kilroy was here on the front of the panther when i get the guys on it.

Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P] Pretty Kitty

The flag is unfortunate, but explains the missing crew. Evil [}:)]

You should try adding figures because the tank and base looks so good there is no way you can go wrong and with small figures its easy to strip off the paint and try again Black Eye [B)]

Awesome job LQ!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent work, LQ2!
There's a lot of drama packed into that little diorama.

Okay thats it, Im buying a WW2 German armor kit. Splendid job, Chris! The white flag is a nice touch, too. What did you use to rusty up the tracks?

Tigerman-Right now I have a replica of one of my grandfathers NASCARs to finish by next weekend hopefully then on to a Marder III. Started a little on it but now ready to go full swing on it.

Latch-Yea that was one of about 5 or so parts that are still MIA. He seems to know what to sneak off with, always something that I really need like the base for a TOW on a jeep I did. Still trying to find that one and it's not that small of a part!

Thanks for the compiments everyone else.

Sherm, depends on how far away those other Shermans are. I'll put up the 17pdr Achilles for long range work, if the rest of you sneak up behind.

Great work LQ. Have enjoyed the posts in the build forum.

Thanks. I came up with the idea for the flag when some one asked about the nazi flag and a one respose was that they fley a white at the end of the war. I had planned on putting some GIs on it getting thier picture taken but my figure skills still have alot to be said. ONe other thing I did the Panther last night that can't be seen is I put some bars across the exhaust after hollowing it out some, made a nice touch to it.

Robert- Think I need to hide it simewhere before all those Shermans get loose?

Dwight- Glad I could be an insperation for someone, can't say that happens to often!

I really liked the camo on the Panther, LQ2. Gave me inspiration to re-paint my Panther G. I agree that the composition of the dio was superb. And the white flag adds a little humor IMO to it, too. Two thumbs up, Chris.

Excellent build Chris .... definitely your best so far. I agree on the little touched adding so much to your dio.
The white flag is especially fitting ... considering how the Sherman Group Build has grown.

Thanks for sharing with us.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Super looking Panther and diorama, Chris!

The downed wires, fence and flag add alot to the setting.

I finally got around to finishing up the Panther I built in the CBP. Only thing left is to find the jack to put on the back of it, figure my 2 year old walked up with a missing tow cable the other day so maybe the jack will show up too. This was the first time I had messed with AM stuff. It has the PE grill set, Eduard barrel and steel tow cables. The zim is pe also but came with the kit. Here are the pics, let me know what y'all think of it. I really enjoyed doing the group build and have to join in another as soon as I can sneak a kit in the house for one.
