Ah, it appears that our dear Field Marshal Manstein could well be next in Dragon's latest figures releases. This new one features a Panzer crew and "Clever Hans Guderian". Nicely done.

I thought it was "Schnell" Hans as in "quick" or "speedy".

Love the nickname, always stuck me as some sort of used panzer salesman....

You could well be right. I, for whatever reason, recall hearing "clever" though, and I could be wrong.
I'm still working out the terms through my agent---there's a "no-ban" clause in the contract, meaning if I get banned again from FSM it becomes void...doesn't matter, cause I'm WINNING!
I thought this Manny figure looked little too fat. There's no question he was much thinner because of his special diet eating cats. Anyway I want to get this kit!

I was wrong about the Tamiya 251 C kit. I'm frequently wrong, but never in doubt.

but how do we know this is really what Manny looks like?
You mean that's not Manny in his avatar? Sheez!
Wabashwheels You mean that's not Manny in his avatar? Sheez!
well, as Manny is able to quietly and unobtrusively blend in with the crowds ...........
the avatar may or may not actually look like him.
I suggest looking for someone behaving like Manny at the April 6th thru 9th AMPS show in Fredericksberg, Va.
I'll be the old, skinny dude wearing the t-shirt that reads: "I Eat the Bones of Trolls"....
Manstein's revenge I'll be the old, skinny dude wearing the t-shirt that reads: "I Eat the Bones of Trolls"....
LMAO.......hopefully, Manny will have taken advantage of the local hotel's T-Shirt cleaning services .....
My bad. He was known as "hurrying" or der "schnelle Heinz" by his troops according to Wikipedia. I don't know why I called him Clever Hans in my initial post instead of Heinz Guderian. That must have been his brother.

IIRC there was a stage act in Weimar Germany consisting of a talented mule or donkey named Hans. The act involved his trainer asking hans questions and Hans responding either by pawing on the floor or by braying. The animal was billed as "Clever Hans". This is done from memory with only half a cup of coffee in me.
I don't want to be the irritating fact checker in this forum universe, but I do like historical trivia. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
