Cyberhobby Flakpanzer V Coelian WIP

Today I decided to take a look at this model, (I got it a few weeks ago), and before I knew it, I had this much done:

I am impressed with the overall quality of the kit. I did replace the kit barrels with aluminum ones from RB Model. I hope to put out some more photos today. Enjoy!

I imagine it was a good call on replacing the kit barrels and muzzles. Yes

If this ever got into production, it might have been a nasty AA vehicle.

I have not posted on here for a long while. I got the upper hull done, and I painted and decaled the turret. I made up my own camo since this was a hypothetical vehicle the decals are from DML's 1/35 Tiger II (Porsche Turret). Enjoy :)

Hey Ozzman, nice job. I have this on the back burner to do myself. I like your camo. Did you hand paint the green/brown swatches?

I finally finished my Flakpanzer V Coelian. I messed up on the tracks though, I really hate the "Magic Tracks". Also, I decided to not build the figures that came with the kit, I plan to use them on a King Tiger I will be building. Enjoy :)

I like what you have done so far.  Are you going to weather it ?

Looks pretty good. A couple of observations: The inner road wheel rims would be metal, because they came in contact with the guide horns on the tracks. The handles on the wire cutters would be a dark grey because they were made of a plastic material. You might want to add a couple of dirty washes would liven up those tracks. Wink

Overall, a pretty good effort.
