Have you had a disaster, Beltfed?

First it was Vallejo paint and now Tamiya TS spray! I'm sure someone mentioned Denatured Alcohol on your Vallejo post?

I hope you get it sorted!

Yep, i had a little accident on my BT-7 and had to strip off ERRYTHANG! Bought some oven cleaner, hopefully that'll do, if not.....well, there's always another chemical.

If it comes to it, you can use Tamiya lacquer thinner or Gunze Mr Color thinner - that will strip off any paint (and solvent based filler/putty) pretty readily.

Ditto

I use Gunze Thinner. Brutal but effective!

If you do these methods..... will it soften or erase detail such as panel lines? Due to the chemicals?

I've used Purple Pond and oven cleaner of the above mentioned with no damage to styrene kit plastic. These will strip the paint, filler putty, decals, etc ...
