They need a little TLC,but the PST kits build up quite nice and I love 'em.

Good to see small scale armor!  A couple thing to note - the items hanging from the front tow shackles are the ends of the tow cables.  They could not be seperated from the cables themselves.  One of the rear towing brackets has fallen off.  Also the headlight on is over painted green.  The mud looks good.

I was in the process of adding the tow cables, but the only thread I have is way too small and just didn't look good.I'll have to finish that later. The mount for the rear broke off during the 'TLC' process. The drive sprocket doesn't fit until you do a bit of carving on the hull.A very awkward position.I'm surprised I didn't do more damage.I also kept forgetting about that damned headlight!!!!!That will be addressed as well.

I also didn't weather the exhaust outlets!!!!

I must have been a bit more tired than I thought.Back to the bench.

Try getting some braided wire used for hanging pictures for the tow cable.  If you anneal it before you use it, it will bend easily to the shape you want it.

Eureka XXL makes some excellent tow cables and shackles for the KV-1.

All in all a lovely build, nicely done. I have this kit in my stash so it is really nice to see a build of it.

Thanks guys.I was wondering if I had anything around the house that would do!

I have a ton of picture frames in the garage!

Thanks for the tip!

While far from perfect, there is just something I really dig about the PST kits.

I went back to the bench and fixed a few oversights.

Headlight painted,a bit more mud added and I weathered the exhaust outlets.
