I have been looking around and ive seen some really cool armor/artillery models, but i cant decide on any. What are your favorite models? I want to get a model that will keep me busy, is fun to build, looks cool, and preferably 1/35 scale. If possible attach a picture of the completed model.

I just got finished with a Tamiya M-26.... simple build that looks really great! If you want to be busy pulling your hair out, try dragon's Easy 8 sherman. indy track-links, and 2 parts per link. oh yeah...
Welcome. I'm not sure of your skill level, but it sounds like you've got some builds under the belt. I'm building this Dragon Jagdtiger for my Panzerjager groupbuild. Here's a link, since I haven't finished it yet:

This is another Dragon Big Cat, their Smart Kit Panther G

You can't beat most of the newer Dragon kits, but they do come with a ton of parts and often AM goods like barrel and track links.

I am not sure where your skill stands... if it is novice or intermediate, go for one of those great Tamiya kits. StuG III Ausf (WWII German tank killer) was my favorite and it was fun building it. If your skill is advanced enough, go for Dragon (DML) kits maybe Panther or Jagdpanzer kits that doesn't come in high parts count for you to enjoy.
Here's picture of my StuG III B...

Get a Tasca Sherman something-or-other! I'm only on my second armor build since returning to modeling, and haven't touched a Tasca yet, but I've got three in the stash (M4A1 Late Production w/ hedgerow cutter, M4A3(76)W, and M4A3E8 Easy Eight), and they are droolworthy.

What are your areas of interest? And what is your price range? If money is no object, then much is out there. If you are on a budget, you may want to look at some of the Dragon Orange Box kits.

So...pick one or two and get on with it.
Jeff, you said the AFV Strykers had alot of parts but great fit. How good is the fit? How much filler did you use if any? What about ejecter pin marks or flash, etc.? Btw it looks great.

OMG !!!!!!
Who's kit is that ? Must be a ton of PE .
In answer to the question i think it also depends on what era your interest are , WW II , Korean war , Vietnam , the Desert Storm wars ........etc.
I personally prefer modern armor, and mostly u.s. I dont mind though if its from another country.
Here's something a little different you might be interested in . Its the AFV Club 1/35th scale 155mm "Long Tom " . Its a kewl looking kit and easy to assemble . The barrel is kit provided in aluminum . The tires are nicely done in vinyl . It can be built in either a firing or transport version.
