Argh thank you very much for the info, like i said i was inspired, he also had a recon unit in the east at the end of the war with the 21st correct, If my memory serves me right

I believe the unit involved would have been Luck's recon battalion of the 21st Panzer Division...units involved would probably have had primarily the 251; some 250's..I don't believe the 21st had Pumas or 222's, which at this stage of the war were rare, particularly in the West...

Thank you Herr field marshal. I read Panzer Commander and was inspired to build a dio of the Recon unit in normandy preparing to charge the orne bridge, What kind of halftracks would he had used, so far ive built a Puma and sd.kfz. 222, would he had used sd.kfz. 250 or regular 251

I know Das Reich used the slash-9 in Normandy but I don't believe the slash-22 came out until very late '44 or early '45...

Were there any German units using the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 or 251/9 in the normandy area? Mainly interested in Heer units? I Believe these would be considered anti tank guns and infantry support correct?
