The Eduard sets do not come with the alignment tool.  They want you to plunk out some more cash for what should be in the set.  It isn't too hard to alighn them without it though.    Here is an M1127 I built using the Eduard M1126 SLAT, add-on armor, Blast Panels, and Rhino.  The Rhino goes on easliy to the front of the SLAT.

I can't really rcommend any AM stowage for it, I just mix and match what I have to come up with the stowage I want.  I don't usually buy vehicle-designed sets as they usually are not to my liking.

quick stryker questions
Posted by Vriez on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 4:44 PM

I just picked up a trumpeteer m1130 kit and must say that it looks like a pretty impressive kit.  I started doing some research on the kit, and read the large thread over at armorama about all the different slat armor/accessory kits that are made for it.

Onto the questions-

I plan on using the eduard slat armor, I know that the common agreement is that griffon/voyager are of better quality, but I just frankly don't have the cash to shell out the extra $$ for them.  Does the eduard kit come with any form of spacer for the slats, I saw that you could buy one seperately, but don't want a double.  Does the RHINO anti-IED device attach pretty easily with eduard slat?

My next question comes to the accessories.  I am torn between the blast models (the one that all of the pack's/gear is molded into the bins, and the real-model MOLLE set.  What are your thoughts on both??

Lastly (for now) I'm digging through some pictures, and the kit that I have has an option for a clear vision block that supports (or atleast is under) the driver's hatch.  How common was it for strykers to have this installed during OIF?

thanks in advance,

Jordan
