Hey Andy,

Top man! That the one I was looking for.

There is another photo that someone posted on here - it was a birds-eye view of a mint looking Tamiya StuG III B, all shiny and nice and I'd love to find a picture of that again.

All the hatches were open and you could see inside. You'll know it when you see it - it looks like no weathering had been done at that point.

Btw, any idea of how the rods need to go on top? Also, do I need to use the pins?

Cheers buddy,

Ben Toast

Hey buddy!

With detailfreak's help, we found this picture during our Turretless GB... is this what you were looking?

There was no instructions for those spare parts that came with the Tamiya kit just like yours.

If you want to do it accurately, add flat steel rod at the top to hold the spare wheel like shown in the first picture.  I had too much fun with this kit...

Advice needed on the Tamiya StuG III B-Spare wheel mounting?

Hi chaps,

I'm about to start work on my Tamiya StuG III B tomorrow.

I remember from last time around that someone posted a couple of pictures showing where and how to mount the two spare wheels on the rear engine deck.

If anyone has photos or links to these photos I'd love to see them again!

Many thanks,

Ben Toast
