Weathering - in the "doog" style

I was trying to practice "the doog" painting chipping technique shown here:

/forums/p/84424/824087.aspx#824087

But was wondering what ratios were used to mix the "Testors enamel Steel, raw umber oil, black oil, and orange oil"?

I tried doing about equal and it looks a little weird to me. Kind of like a grayish steel color.

Think i figured it out. When I applied the mixture to a all over German Grey Tiger I it looked strange.

But then I messed with the mixture on a desert  colored Sd kfz 222 part and it looked GREAT!!!
