1:72 UM BA-6 armoured car

UM BA-6 built out of the box. as per usual, I used Vallejo paints weathered with oil washes, filters and finally MIG pigments to tie the model into the base.

A great kit, though UM plastic is quite brittle, which did cause some breakages. I used a metal aftermarket barrel as the kit barrel was beyond salvaging.

In in all a great little kit and I even got all wheels touching the ground, which often can be an issue with wheeled AFV's.

Nice job! I have always had a soft spot for the smaller scale stuff. But I am restricting myself to a few 1/35 projects until I get my chops back so to speak. But I do have a 1/72 Panther and a Tiger just raring to  go.

Thanks everyone. I will certainly build another UM kit. Good value and good fun to build.
